Dr. Flavius Popescu

Dr. Flavius Popescu, DDS, is the owner and lead dentist at Elysium Dental in Naples, FL. With expertise in both general and holistic dentistry, he offers a comprehensive range of services, including IV sedation, All-on-X implants, wisdom tooth extractions, Invisalign, and laser dentistry. Dr. Popescu is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care in a calming, patient-focused environment, always tailored to each individual's needs and goals.

A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Popescu is passionate about continuing education, completing over 100 hours of advanced training each year. His ongoing studies span prestigious institutions such as the Midwest Implant Institute, Dawson Academy (Occlusion and TMJ mini-residency), the Steve Buchanan Endodontic Mini-Residency, Naples Institute of Implant Dentistry, and the Advanced Prosthetics Institute in Arizona. He is certified in IV sedation through DOCS and has spent countless hours training with leading experts in implants and TMJ care.

Dr. Popescu is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Dawson Scholar, a certified Invisalign provider, and an active member of the American Dental Association.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Popescu enjoys quality time with his wife and practice partner, Dr. Lavinia Popescu, and their two daughters. Together, they enjoy discovering new restaurants and leading an active lifestyle that includes volleyball, soccer, and outdoor activities.
